Next, on our Krabi tour, we visit Hong Lagoon. Nearby Hong Lagoon is famous for its stunning setting and is illuminated by gorgeous turquoise colored water. Here, we take the boat on a 10 – 15 min lap of the Lagoon. The merge point of the lagoon and the island is simply breathtaking. The visual experience formed when you are at the lagoon is spectacular, since the island engulfs the beautiful crystal waters, creating amazing opportunities for you to take amazing pictures that are guaranteed to be postcard worthy. This island is one of the most beautiful locations in Krabi and you can experience this all for yourself once you arrive at the lagoon.

Snorkeling at Chicken Island
Take a dive in the crystal island waters
Another famous spectacular island experience, as long as tide & sea conditions allow for it, we will select the best site for snorkeling around the famous Chicken Island. It is usually quiet here even at 10 am and we typically will only have long tail boats for company. At this stunning setting, there is an abundance of tropical fish that will join you as you snorkel your way around the island. This tour stop also gives you the opportunity to witness the interesting rock formation at the edge of the island that resembles that of a giant chicken.

This beach is one of the absolute highlights of the Krabi Island tour. We will likely spend half an hour at the main Railay Beach (West beach) where you’ll be able to take a lovely stroll on the sun-drenched beach, or swim in the crystal clear blue water surrounding this location. Railay Beach is one of the most memorable postcard locations to take some magnificent photos. Rest assured, the island scenery is as beautiful as you’ve seen in the photos.

It’s time to have a taste of the Krabi island flavours. Lunch at a beeautiful beachside restaurant, without doubt, one of the major highlights of this tour. To break up the journey back to Royal Phuket Marina we make a 40 minute stop at ‘Coconut Cape’, a favourite amongst many of our tour guests from the ‘Phang Nga & Beyond’ tour. The Original Tour
Pickup from your hotel will take place at approximately 5:30am for a 6:30am Departure from the Marina and you will be returned to the hotel at approximately 3:30pm. Hotel pickup is complimentary ONLY to certain areas in Phuket only. A 1000 Baht return trip, per vehicle, applies to areas in Phuket outside of this zone. Higher charges apply outside of Phuket (we will advise of the outside Phuket fee when booking is received).

‘’Simba Sea Trips are amazing’’
My wife and I spent a week in Phuket and we ended up doing two Simba Tours, after being thoroughly impressed by our first tour.
We did the Phi Phi island tour, and the James Bond island tour. Both were amazing and I would recommend doing them both because they were very different from each other. The Phi Phi islands tour had snorkeling and a lot of pristine beach and lagoon locations, while the Jamea Bond island tour had no snorkeling but sea kayaking instead, as well as cave exploration.
Both times the driver showed up at our hotel in Karon beach early, and was very pleasant to deal with. He takes you directly to their office in the Royal Phuket Marina, where a light morning snack is waiting for you (boiled eggs, coffee, crackers, fruit, etc.). There's then a briefing of the tour on a large map that is very comprehensive so that everyone understands the days schedule and can ask questions. Both times the briefing was done by one of the tour guides named Harry who speaks perfect English. The tour guides themselves were amazing, we had Woody on our first tour and Harry on our second tour and I can guarantee that these guys are top notch. They really do avoid all of the masses, for example we were the first ones on the James Bond island, which apparently is very very busy normally. The tour guides know when the popular spots get busy and using the smaller boat (we had approximately 16 people on our first tour and 15 on the second), they are able to get in and out before the masses. The crew on the boat such as the captain and boat boy were always very friendly, often taking candid pictures of us, which they offer to email to you afterwards at no cost. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Highly recommend.
